Hope everyone has had as nice a summer as I have. My mother told me many years ago to become a teacher because it is the best job to have as a parent and she was right. I was able to spend the summer doing everything I love with my children (my husband is not a teacher so he wasn't able to be with us as much as we would have liked). We traveled, visited family and friends, went to water and amusement parks, read, went to the movies, went to the races in Saratoga, rested, took a lot of pictures and had fun experimenting with my cameras, started my own sketchbook, and researched a lot on Pinterest to get ready for a new, fun, exciting, and creative new school year.
This year I will be updating my art blog every two weeks so please check back periodically to see what we are doing in the highschool art department.
Below I have created a slideshow of some of my most favorite photographs of the summer, along with the one to the left of my children overlooking Lake Eskatasius, Maine. Please take a peek
and enjoy!
